A MIDI sequence using General MIDI instrumentation means it'll sound basically the same on any General MIDI playback system (whether a synthesizer workstation or computer), because General MIDI specifies which instruments (sounds, or patches) correspond to specific patch numbers used in MIDI sequences.
Probably anyone with a computer that supports playing music off the Internet will find that this works for them.
